Branch Manager
About the role
We are hiring a Branch Manager in Nacogdoches, TX. The position is open and requires previous management experience in a customer-facing environment. Applicants should have background in supporting and leading teams within a retail or industrial distribution environment. Proficient computer skills and an interest in learning new digital tools are also required.
Responsibilities
- Promote sales and deliver excellent customer service
- Nurture inventory levels and balance expenses through purchasing support
- Foster facility and staff alignment to safety and regulatory standards
- Support the outside sales team in nurturing existing client relationships and welcoming new business opportunities
- Support the flow of accurate and timely daily processing of financial transactions
- Maintain the accuracy of back order, open order, and PO expedite reports
- Cultivate and refine appropriate cylinder and hard goods inventory levels for the branch
- Facilitate and lead training for inside sales associates on product knowledge, company policies, processes, procedures, and safety
- Conduct periodic performance reviews for branch associates
- Act as a bridge between employees and management, providing performance mentorship and guidance in collaboration with Human Resources and senior management
Requirements
- Previous management experience in a customer facing environment
- Background in supporting and leading teams within a retail or industrial distribution environment
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and occasionally up to 125 lbs with the aid of material handling equipment
- Proficient computer skills and an interest in learning new digital tools
- The ability to navigate multiple priorities concurrently
- Self-motivated with a focus on contributing to the overall team's success
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively act as a bridge between staff and management
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in the welding or safety industry
- 3+ years’ experience in sales with proven success
