Branch Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe/compliant work environment and adherence to aerospace industry standards.
• Leadership Oversight: Provide leadership for warehouse operations, quality, and customer service.
• Quality Management: Implement and enforce ISO procedures to guarantee product quality and compliance.
• Operational Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives focusing on efficiency and performance enhancements.
• Order Fulfillment: Ensure timely processing and shipment of orders, meeting all deadlines.
• Inventory Management: Optimize storage and inventory handling, ensuring compliance with aerospace quality standards.
• Team Development: Train and supervise personnel, fostering a culture of compliance and excellence.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Sales and other departments to coordinate activities and manage customer demand.
• Performance Metrics: Develop and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to branch operations.
• Contract and Quotation Management: Oversee contract reviews, manage the quote process, and provide technical support to customers.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in aerospace engineering, business administration, supply chain management, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Work Experience: Operations/Sales Management Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in operations and/or sales management in a supervisory role, preferably within the aerospace distribution sector.
• Quality Management Systems: Proven experience in managing operations under an ISO, TS, or equivalent Quality Management System, preferably specific to aerospace.
• Fastener Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of fastener and fastener quality standards specific to aerospace applications is preferred.
• Professional Skills: LEAN and Quality Methodologies: Strong understanding of LEAN, methodologies applicable to aerospace operations, is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint at an intermediate level to manage data and reports.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to effectively interact with customers, suppliers, and team members across all levels of the organization.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills to manage operational challenges.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to handle essential warehouse duties including driving a forklift, lifting up to 50 lbs, and using handheld scanners.
• Licenses: Valid Driver’s License: A good driving record and the ability to pass physical examination requirements may be necessary.

Pay

Base Salary Target is 100-110k.

Schedule

Work Hours are 8:00- 4:30 M-F
