Branch ISD School Psychologist

About the role

The Branch ISD Special Education Department serves students pre-K to age 26 with mild to severe impairments and works closely with the local schools in Branch County to provide: instructional services, hearing and vision services, physical and occupational therapy, speech, psychological, and nursing services.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a variety of strategies and approaches to meet the cognitive needs of students.
• Maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor.
• Show a positive attitude and friendly outgoing personality.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Engage in professional development as required by the State of Michigan.

Qualifications/Requirements

• A desire to work with students with various disabilities.
• A valid Michigan School Psychologist certification; Ed.S. Degree or equivalent in School Psychology.
• Open to School Psychologist Interns willing to accept a full-time position.

Pay

Salary range is from $56,893 - $88,753 (contingent on years of experience and days of contract).

Schedule

Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
