About the Role
We are seeking a General Warehouse Team Member to join our distribution network. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient flow of materials throughout NMG’s facility. Team members load and unload trucks, move materials, and transport items to and from the loading platform using equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, and motorized conveyors. The position involves stocking and maintaining warehouse inventory, fulfilling outgoing orders, and preparing products for shipment.
Responsibilities
- Separate, label, and verify the count of incoming freight deliveries.
- Stock and maintain warehouse inventory.
- Locate and pull stock for outgoing deliveries.
- Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling).
- Spend the majority of time standing, lifting, carrying products, and climbing ladders to stock shelves.
- Use the computer system to locate products and stock incoming deliveries.
- Clean and maintain work area.
- Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
- Perform shipping and receiving responsibilities.
- Work overtime as scheduled and required.
- Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer skills, including checking email and completing online training.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for accurate job task completion.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Effective communication with co-workers to meet customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Prior work experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
- Experience using a materials requirement planning system (MRP) such as AS400 is preferred.

- Occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 50 pounds.
