About the role
The Branch Coordinator is a consultative position that ensures high service standards and onsite operational excellence are maintained in their branch for new and existing products, services, and systems. By supporting both customers and staff, this role strengthens relationships, improves efficiency, and reinforces the branch’s commitment to trust, responsiveness, and community connection.
Responsibilities
- Perform branch functions such as running a cash drawer, opening accounts, and assisting with the onboarding of new employees.
- Handle day-to-day research and resolution of problems/issues for branch staff, including the Manager and Assistant Manager.
- Work directly with the Retail Operations team to ensure the branch performs all necessary operational and regulatory functions.
- Assist with operational and technical questions and escalate as needed.
- Support Retail Leadership in creating, implementing, and monitoring processes and controls to mitigate risk.
- Assist with compliance reviews, regulatory audits, and new account reviews.
- Review, approve, and process morning reports and escalate items requiring additional review.
- Assist in the onboarding of new employees and provide guidance on systems, processes, and procedures to improve their experience.
- Monitor changes and new regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with LSB’s policies and procedures.
- Track training reports to ensure all branch staff complete required compliance training on time and with understanding.
- Process customer transactions accurately and professionally while maintaining high customer service standards.
- Greet customers and provide a welcoming, top-notch service experience.
- Answer and route telephone calls, identify customer needs, and refer them to appropriate products or services.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges, and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements and privacy policies.
- Refer clients for additional retail and bank services.
- Promote the use of Salesforce and LSB360.
- Accurately balance teller drawer, vault, coin machine, and ATM.
- Bundle and scan appropriate work through the Branch Capture System.
- Act in accordance with all LSB regulatory policies and procedures.
- Serve as a core system expert.
- Comply with internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies.
- Represent Lincoln Savings Bank professionally in conduct, communication, and appearance.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Occasional company-related travel may be required; a valid driver’s license is necessary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ years of retail banking or operations experience required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to stay organized, track progress, maintain priorities, and communicate issues effectively.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to take ownership of projects.
- Team player.
- Occasionally lift and/or move items over 10 pounds without reasonable accommodation.
- Proven track record of referring clients to all business lines while meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Ability to take initiative and use sound judgment in decision-making and problem-solving.
