About the Role
A Branch Banking Leader coaches a high-performing branch team to meet and exceed performance targets by teaching, training, and modeling sales behaviors while ensuring operational excellence. This role focuses on coaching for sales, revenue growth, and operational integrity, emphasizing successful sales and client experience behaviors while delivering a high level of client service.
Responsibilities
- Drive market growth of primary client relationships and achieve growth targets in financial performance (deposits, loans, and non-interest income).
- Actively seek and deliver the right client introductions to the right team member(s) to achieve growth targets and execute successful sales initiatives.
- Use independent judgement and discretion to make sound financial decisions.
- Create and execute business development plans, actively support partner-produced sales, and branch initiatives.
- Provide training, development, and coaching to branch teams on mission and how to effectively engage to deliver on targets.
- Foster the right environment for branch teams and clients.
- Handle talent management functions including employment, performance evaluations, staff development/training, disciplinary actions, succession planning, and ensuring compliance with all requirements.
- Deliver client engagement and education using available tools and systems.
- Foster a culture focused on providing an exceptional client experience with a commitment to delivering on the bank’s mission and purpose.
- Analyze and resolve problems pertaining to branch operations and client satisfaction.
- Foster a culture of disciplined risk management, helping teams identify and mitigate reputational, regulatory, employee, and client risks.
- Ensure team awareness, understanding, and adherence to all applicable bank policies and regulations.
- Meet operational excellence standards.
- Perform special projects and additional duties as required.
- Consistently adhere to regulatory and compliance policies and complete required compliance training.
- Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC, or foreign equivalent).
- 6+ years of overall branch sales experience.
- 2+ years in a leadership role.

- Undergraduate degree (4 years or equivalent).

Pay
Pay Range: $59,085.00 - $99,485.00
