Branch Banking Leader

About the role

A Branch Banking Leader coaches a high‑performing branch team to meet and exceed performance targets by teaching, training, and modeling sales behaviors while ensuring operational excellence. The role emphasizes coaching to sales, revenue growth, and operational integrity, delivering a high level of client service and a superior client experience.

Responsibilities

• Business Performance: Drive market growth of primary client relationships and achieve growth targets in deposits, loans, and non‑interest income; actively seek and deliver appropriate client introductions; use independent judgment to make sound financial decisions.
• Sales Leadership and Coaching: Create and execute business development initiatives; support partner‑produced sales and branch initiatives; provide training, development, and coaching to branch teams; manage talent functions including hiring, performance evaluations, staff development, disciplinary actions, succession planning, and compliance adherence.
• Client Experience: Deliver client engagement and education using available tools and systems; foster a culture focused on exceptional client experience; analyze and resolve operational and client‑satisfaction issues.
• Risk Management: Promote disciplined risk management; help teams identify and mitigate reputational, regulatory, employee, and client risks; ensure awareness and adherence to all bank policies and regulations; meet operational excellence standards.
• Additional Accountabilities: Perform special projects and additional duties as required; consistently adhere to regulatory and compliance policies; complete required compliance training; maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Requirements

• Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC) or foreign equivalent.
• Required Experience: Minimum 6 + years of overall branch sales experience, including at least 2 + years in a leadership role.
• Preferred Education: Undergraduate degree (4 years or equivalent).

Pay

Pay Range: $59,085.00 – $99,485.00 (actual starting base pay determined by location, experience, and other non‑discriminatory factors).
