Take this opportunity to join our highly respected Division of Neurological Rehabilitation in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at MHS and Case Western Reserve University (CWRU).
Responsibilities
- Contribute substantially to the clinical and academic mission of the MetroHealth Rehabilitation Institute Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program in a combined research and clinical medicine position in the field of brain injury.
- Mentorship and career-development support will be provided as needed.
- Opportunities for clinical duties include the full spectrum of Brain Injury management, including acute inpatient rehabilitation, acute hospital consultations, office-based evaluations and procedures including chemodenervation and neurolysis.
- Academic responsibilities include education and training of Brain Injury Medicine fellows, PM&R residents, and Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) medical students.
Requirements
- Board certification in PM&R and ACGME fellowship training in Brain Injury Medicine (BC/E).
Qualifications
Academic appointment in PM&R will be commensurate to experience and qualifications. Academically affiliated with the renowned CWRU School of Medicine , MHS includes a 355-bed academic medical center and is a Level I Trauma and Burn Center, a certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Magnet ® certified for nursing excellence.
