Brain Concussion Neurologist / Join Bob Bove Neuroscience Institute in Scottsdale, AZ
About the role
The HonorHealth Bob Bové Neuroscience Institute in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale is seeking a dedicated Neuro Brain Concussion Specialist to join our world-class team at the HonorHealth Osborn Medical Center in collaboration with the HonorHealth Sports Medicine Program at the new Pima Center.
The HonorHealth Bob Bové Neuroscience Institute, opened in 2021, is Arizona's newest multidisciplinary center for coordinated neurological and musculoskeletal care. The upcoming HonorHealth Medical Campus at Pima Center will expand integrated, whole-person care by combining outpatient services with fitness, nutrition, injury prevention, and lifestyle medicine under one roof.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of acute and chronic concussion, post-concussive syndrome, neuro-trauma symptoms, and musculoskeletal or vestibular sequelae linked to head injury.
- Lead and expand a multidisciplinary concussion program supported by neuropsychology, neuroradiology, vestibular therapy, orthopedics, sports medicine, PM&R, and headache specialists.
- Access to advanced diagnostics and integrated care pathways, including: 3T MRI with neuro-trauma and functional imaging, neuropsychological and cognitive testing, vestibular and concussion rehabilitation teams, headache/migraine specialists, spine, pain management, and musculoskeletal experts, complex neuro-diagnostics (EEG, EMG, autonomic testing).
- Develop and standardize concussion protocols across EDs, urgent care, sports medicine, primary care, and neurology networks.
- Provide outreach to schools, athletic organizations, and community partners, supporting safe return-to-play and return-to-learn guidelines.
Requirements

- MD or DO degree with current Arizona medical license.
- Experience in concussion management and related fields.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Qualifications
