Boys' Varsity Head Basketball Coach

Responsibilities

• Teaches technique, runs drills, models program philosophies and values
• Builds positive relationships with a roster of 15-20 athletes
• Leads meet and tournament management, both home and away
• Takes an active role in recruiting potential student-athletes to Middlesex
• Communicates regularly with the Athletic Director and Dean of Admissions about recruiting efforts
• Organizes and leads practice sessions
• Trains, encourages, and motivates athletes
• Ensures athletes are using equipment properly and safely
• Evaluates team members and modifies coaching strategies accordingly
• Remains current on changes in rules, coaching philosophies, and techniques
• Participates in the recruiting process through Admissions
• Recruits student athletes to join the Middlesex program
