Boys Varsity Basketball Head Coach

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge to coach basketball
• Ability to work effectively with high school athletes
• CPR and First Aid Certification

Duties And Responsibilities

• To coach Varsity Boys Basketball
• Oversee the Boys Basketball program and youth/feeder programs to ensure a unified system and philosophy
• Foster a positive environment emphasizing leadership, discipline, academic integrity, and character development
• Implement individual and team instructional program focusing on fundamental skills, athletic conditioning, and sportsmanship
• Maintain open, professional communication with parents and school administration
• Ensure compliance with all state high school association (MHSAA) guidelines, district policies, and league rules
• Ability to organize and run summer basketball camps through community education
• Experience with, or ability to coordinate program fundraising
