About the role

The Adel DeSoto Minburn Community School District seeks a Boys Middle School Track Coach for the 2026-27 spring season. The position competes in the Raccoon River Conference.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a track and field program that aligns with ADM’s mission and vision.
• Work closely with the Athletic Director and other coaches to ensure the success of the program.
• Maintain high standards of conduct and ethics, ensuring the safety and well-being of student-athletes.
• Collaborate with the administration to secure necessary resources and support for the program.
• Communicate regularly with parents and students to provide updates and address concerns.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Validate Iowa Coaching License.
• Demonstrated aptitude for coaching track and field.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work well with staff, parents, and students.
