Responsibilities

• Coaches pole vault track and field program
• Completes the NFHS "Fundamentals of Coaching" course within the first year
• Supervise and monitor team in various settings
• Mentor and develop relationships with student-athletes
• Teach skills, fundamentals, rules of sport and associations
• Communicate clearly with athletes and parents

Requirements

• CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
• Fundamentals of Coaching course per NFHS
• Previous high school or college playing experience
• High school, club or college coaching experience
• Possess excellent organizational skills and provide program oversight
• Understand and teach skills/fundamentals, rules of sport and associations; including technical and tactical components of the game
• Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and communicate clearly with athletes and parents
• Ability to supervise and monitor team in various setting
• Mentor and develop relationships with student-athletes and encourage a healthy, fun and competitive outlook in sport
