Box Truck Driver/Donation Pickup Specialist

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service to create goodwill toward Habitat Bucks.
• Communicate the status of pickups to customers and dispatcher.
• Drive the ReStore truck to and from scheduled 'pick-up' donation locations.
• Load and unload merchandise routinely at multiple sites.
• Maintain the ReStore Box trucks for required maintenance and upkeep.
• Adhere to the acceptable donations policy.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Move priced items to the showroom floor.
• Follow all safety guidelines and practices.
• Adhere to traffic laws.

Requirements

• A strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.
• The ability to safely lift and position 50 pounds frequently.
• Constant physical activity, including bending, kneeling, standing, walking, squatting, and reaching, often in awkward or tiring positions.
• Reliable transportation to the Warminster ReStore location.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a box truck safely and efficiently.
• Experience interacting with new people daily.
• Leadership skills or the ability to collaborate with a team member.
