Box Truck Driver - 2nd Shift

About the role

This position involves safely transporting materials, finished goods, supplies, and equipment between Quanex’s two facilities in Owatonna, Minnesota.

Schedule

Monday – Thursday, 3:30pm - 2am (2nd shift).

Responsibilities

• Operate a box truck to shuttle materials between our two facilities.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections; report maintenance issues.
• Maintain clean, safe vehicle conditions at all times.
• Operate sit-down forklift, tugger, and pallet jacks to perform loading and unloading.
• Communicate schedule changes, delays, or material needs to Distribution and Production teams.
• Coordinate closely with Shipping, Receiving, Production, and Quality teams.
• Cooperate with and support co-workers as a team player.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• DOT Health Card.
• Positive attitude with a desire to contribute to a team.
• Able to work at a fast pace and adapt to changing business demands.

Pay

$20.00 to $28.00 per hour.
