About the role
TransForce is seeking a non-CDL Local Route Driver to support local operations based in Mechanicsville, VA. Driver must have a valid Medcard to qualify for this position.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate equipment
- Communication with the public
- Completion of all paperwork, reports, and other documentation
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Requirements
- 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Box truck experience
- Strong disposition for positive customer service, strong verbal communication skills
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Medcard
Job Details
Delivering insulation products to job sites and customers' warehouses throughout VA. Touch Freight, must be able to lift 75lbs. Most loads are palletized, and an electric pallet jack will be provided. Truck has a lift gate
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6 am start, 8/10 hr shift
Pay: $20-$24 depending on experience
