Brief Description
Job Title: Box Office Representative (Part-Time)
Department: Entertainment
Reports To: Lead Box Office Representative
About the Role
Creates a welcoming and entertaining environment for guests inquiring about and purchasing tickets for Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort Showroom events.
Enhances customer service and the overall image of Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort by sharing knowledge of performances, ticketed events, and other casino activities with guests and employees of other departments.
Responsibilities
- Handles phone orders and walk-up sales in a courteous and professional manner.
- Keeps up to date on weekly and upcoming show calendar.
- Affords assistance in the promotion of Showroom events and other Casino activities as instructed.
- Affords assistance during performances (i.e. seating guests, and scanning tickets).
- Remains at scheduled and assigned areas promoting Box Office activities whenever possible.
- Ensures department policies and practices in relation to ticket sales are adhered to and assumes full responsibility for personal bank.
- Builds a rapport and collaborates with other enterprise staff as needed.
- Affords clerical support as needed and requested.
- Creates reports as needed and/or requested.
- Exercises appropriate discretion in identifying situations that require management attention.
- Maintains a broad knowledge of the various games, restaurants, and promotions throughout the Casino.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Credit Card Compliance requirements commonly known as PCI (Payment Card Industry) Compliance by attending training provided by Casino Arizona, at least once a year or more if required by management.
- Responsible for following the PCI (Payment Card Industry) Compliance regulations to protect card holder data and adhere to the standards to protect guests’ private card information. This includes, but is not limited to, observing and reporting inappropriate card handling activity, of either customers or by employees, as defined by PCI.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; one-year customer service experience required, preferably in a retail sales.
- Cash handling experience required.
- Good PC skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.

- Must be able to apply basic math on Excel spreadsheet, by calculator and when making change.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must have a sense of urgency towards service delivery and business goals.
- Must have the ability to work well with others.
- Must have strong customer relations, communication, and problem-solving skills.
