Bouncer / Security – Tualatin Station

Job Overview

This part-time nightlife-security role focuses on preventing problems, de-escalating tense situations and maintaining a safe environment for customers and staff. The employer is seeking an immediate hire who is already DPSST trained and certified.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide front-door security and monitor identification
• Support crowd control and maintain orderly entry
• Monitor the inside and outside of the bar
• De-escalate situations professionally and avoid unnecessary confrontation
• Help maintain a safe environment for customers and employees
• Assist with closing duties and confirm the property is cleared and secure
• Coordinate with bartenders and management when issues arise

Qualifications

• Oregon DPSST training and active security certification
• Strong situational awareness and professional communication
• Dependability and consistent punctuality
• Comfort working in a busy late-night bar environment
• Ability to be firm while remaining calm and respectful

Pay and Schedule

• Pay: $19–$25 per hour, depending on experience and work history
• Employment: Part-time
• Schedule: Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights
• Hours: 9:30 p.m.–3:00 a.m.
• Location: Tualatin Station Bar & Grill, 18770 SW Boones Ferry Road, Tualatin, Oregon
