Key Responsibilities
- Operate, set up, and clean production equipment, including bottle unscramblers, tablet/capsule counters, desiccant inserters, metal detectors, capper machines, neck banders, sealers, and labelers.
- Monitor bottling line flow and perform in-process checks, including placing bottles in the unscrambler; ensuring closure lids are properly applied and sealed; and verifying that labels are printed accurately, affixed, and aligned correctly.
- Complete daily logbooks and batch records accurately.
- Track production supplies, bulk product, work order delivery timelines, and overall efficiency.
- Monitor processes and equipment performance to meet production targets and maintain product quality.
- Collaborate with Machine Mechanics and the line lead to resolve problems promptly and minimize downtime.
- Communicate and report process deviations or equipment issues to the Production Manager or line lead.
- Absorb and assist with cleaning packaging lines and equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and cGMP requirements, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with the team to develop process improvements that streamline operations and ensure timely completion and delivery.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, equivalent diploma or relevant experience required
- 3+ years of machine packaging experience required
- Experience in the bottling of nutraceuticals/pharmaceuticals required
- Experience with electronic data scanners and equipment required

Physical/Work Environment/Expectations
- Operate in a professional environment
- Constantly use work-related equipment
- Work in a standing position for the duration of the workday while performing repetitive motions
- Bend, stoop/squat, crouch/kneel, climb stairs and walk intermittently throughout the workday
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- See, hear and speak with sufficient capability to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditions
- Work cooperatively in a diverse work environment
- Ability to work regular, full-time schedule, Monday through Friday with the flexibility to work additional hours depending on business demands
