Boston Painter

Responsibilities

• Preparing surfaces for painting by washing or scraping paint from old surfaces and placing putty in nail holes and around windows.
• Painting exterior woodwork, trim, etc.
• Painting and redecorating ceilings, walls, interior woodwork, and fixtures.
• Mixing paints and matching colors.
• Applying decorative or protective coats of varnish, lacquer, or enamel to furniture.
• Stripping and refinishing old furniture.
• Assisting in rigging and moving any necessary scaffolding.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience required in related work.
• Must be a resident of the city of Boston.
