Boston Area | Automotive Product and Technology Trainer

Overview Jackson Dawson is looking for an energetic Automotive Product and Technology Trainer to lead in-dealership training on both internal combustion (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) products. In this role, you will coach Sales Consultants at select retail dealerships on vehicle technologies, features, functions, and customer benefits; evaluate their product knowledge; and sharpen their presentation and delivery skills. Responsibilities Lead engaging, hands-on training sessions covering new ICE and EV products and technologiesShare insights on product features, advantages, and how they stack up against the competitionBuild and sustain strong, trusted relationships with your assigned dealershipsTake part in ongoing trainer development and skill-building sessionsComplete weekly administrative duties, including time and expense reports and status updatesSupport additional projects and responsibilities as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferredSolid knowledge of automotive systems, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscapeFamiliarity with the automotive industry and dealership operations; prior dealership experience is a plusProficiency with computer and presentation tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and AV equipment setupConfidence as a public speaker, with the ability to engage groups of 20–30 participantsStrong communication skills and comfort working with dealership staff at every levelAbility to run group presentations in busy, active dealership environmentsExcellent organizational and time management skillsGenuine passion for the automotive industryValid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to safely operate and park a company vehicle at your home (business use only) Physical And Travel Requirements Frequent movement throughout dealership facilitiesExtended periods of sitting in vehicles during travel and in-vehicle assessmentsTravel up to 75% by car and/or plane
