BOS Bartender - Full-Time

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bartender (21+) to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintain bar cleanliness and compliance, and deliver excellent customer service in our fast-paced airport environment. The role requires strong mixology knowledge and the ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers with a smile in accordance with hospitality standards
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and SOPs
• Maintain an organized bar area, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and taking orders
• Restock and maintain par levels, practicing FIFO rotation standards
• Buss and sanitize tables, wash dishes, and dispose of trash following all SOPs
• Clean and wipe down surfaces, maintaining high levels of cleanliness at all times
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed or as instructed
• Assist with deliveries, stock rotation, and organization of inventory
• Bid passengers farewell and encourage their return
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the food or beverage industry required
• Strong knowledge of various drink recipes, mixology techniques, and bar equipment
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation to and from the airport
• Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting
• Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift (8-10 hrs.); walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching
• Positive attitude, excellent communication, and willingness to get along with co-workers
• Ability to pass a 10-year federal background check
• Food Handler’s license and Responsible Beverage Service license or the ability to obtain
• Willingness to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays

$25/hr.
