About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Bore Locator professional to join our team in the Central DFW area, supporting active gas utility field operations.

Responsibilities

• Lift a minimum of 90 lbs
• Stand for a minimum of 8 hours
• Operate equipment on the jobsite
• Possess basic knowledge of locator operation and maintenance
• Complete daily truck and equipment inspection paperwork
• Connect and disconnect reamers
• Locate and mark utilities with paint
• Hand dig with a shovel
• Install appropriate traffic control to secure the work site and machine
• Work under hot, cold, and rainy weather conditions
• Perform potholing (hand digging with shovel)
• Enter and exit excavations with or without ladders
• Use power and hand tools
• Pass OQ and Safety training courses

Requirements

• OQ certification (Gas Distribution)
• Class C driver’s license
• Minimum 1 year of experience
