Border Patrol Agent (Reemployed Annuitant)

U.S. Customs and Border Protection · Newport, VT · 1 mo ago
$92k/yrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The posting includes summary, duties, benefits, qualifications, requirements, maybe pay, schedule? Salary info present: "This position starts at a salary of $91,985.00 (GS-12, Step 1) to $119,583.00 (GS-12, Step 10)." Also mention locality pay adjustments. So we can include Pay section. Schedule? Not explicitly given; shift work/overtime mentioned: "Shift Work/Overtime: This position requires regular and recurring shift work. You must be willing and available to work rotating shifts. You may also be rotated between assignments and duty locations. You could be required to work overtime on a daily basis and will be compensated up to an additional 25% of your base pay..." That's schedule info. So we can include Schedule section. Benefits: "Benefits of returning to USBP as a reemployed annuitant may include: The availability of a salary offset waiver, allowing you to retain your full retirement annuity and full salary while re-employed. An expedited pre-employment process. Accelerated re-entry training conducted at the sector." Also mention dual compensation waiver. So Benefits section. Responsibilities/Duties: The duties paragraph includes many bullet-like sentences. We can put them in
  • . Requirements: list of eligibility criteria: US Citizen, Selective Service, primary residency, background investigation, drug testing, age under 59, etc. Also Who May Apply: retired Border Patrol Agents criteria. We'll put in Requirements. Qualifications: specialized experience, GS-12 grade level, etc. Also additional requirements for SOG: Secret clearance, BORTAC, BORSTAR, Spanish proficiency, firearms requirement, disqualifiers. Also time in grade etc. We'll put in Qualifications. Location: list of sectors. Could be a section "Locations" but not in prescribed headings list. The headings list includes About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. No Locations heading. We could fold location info into a short

under maybe About the role or Responsibilities? The instruction: "Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading (the page already shows it) and do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it." Location is not minor metadata; it's substantive. But there is no heading for Locations in allowed list. We could include it under About the role as a paragraph. Or we could create a section with heading "Locations" but that's not in allowed list; better to avoid creating extra headings not listed. So we should embed location info in a paragraph under About the role or maybe under Responsibilities. Probably About the role. We must not include boilerplate like EEO, navigation, cookie, legal, duplicated lines, application instructions. Also remove "See announcement on USAJOBS for available locations." That's boilerplate? It's a note but we can keep location list. The phrase "Please see announcement on USAJOBS for available locations." is boilerplate; we should drop it. We must preserve all substantive information. So we need to include duty locations list. We must not create sections with filler like "commensurate with experience". Avoid. We need to output only HTML fragment. Let's craft:
