Boomi Integration Consultant

As a Package Consultant 2, you will work with cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with industry experts, and contribute to impactful projects that shape the future of business operations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements gathering with stakeholders across business units and assist in validating specifications to ensure alignment with business objectives and ERP capabilities.
• Contribute to solution architecture design by assisting in customizing modules and features of ERP packages based on detailed business requirements.
• Develop and integrate new features into existing applications, conduct code reviews, and maintain the codebase for stability and compliance.
• Participate in system integration efforts by configuring interfaces, executing ETL processes, and ensuring consistent data flow between ERP and other applications.
• Assess ERP system performance to identify enhancement opportunities and ensure ERP customizations comply with security measures and regulatory standards.
• Develop comprehensive documentation for ERP customizations and deliver user training to facilitate effective knowledge transfer.
• Create Boomi interfaces based on interface specifications and in conformance with Boomi coding best practices.
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain integration processes between on-premise/cloud systems and other 3rd party applications using the Boomi AtomSphere platform (Cloud Integration, Application Integration APIs).
• Manage, monitor, sustain, troubleshoot, and support existing EAI integrations, SOA architecture, and the Boomi AtomSphere platform.
• Develop code for intermediate modules, participate in design reviews, conduct code reviews, create test plans, and resolve moderate defects in Boomi.
• Work with Boomi Flow, API management, and integrations.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Actively participate in project design, build, testing, and deployment phases of the project life cycle.

Requirements

• Proficiency in REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XSLT, flat files (CSV, Fixed width) integration, Groovy/JavaScript, and relational/NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and API lifecycle management.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may substitute for each year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.

Preferred Skills

• APIM skillset.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and other project models.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS a plus).
