About the Role We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Boom Truck Operator to join our team in St. Charles, MO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a boom truck to lift, move, and place materials at job sites, while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a boom truck to lift, position, and transport materials, equipment, and loads at job sitesConduct pre-operation inspections of the boom truck, including hydraulic systems, cables, rigging, and safety devicesRead and interpret load charts to determine safe lifting capacities based on boom angle, radius, and load weightCommunicate effectively with ground crew, riggers, and signal persons during lifting operationsPerform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues or malfunctionsFollow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety guidelines and proceduresMaintain accurate logs of daily operations, inspections, and maintenanceTransport the boom truck to and from job sites in compliance with DOT regulationsAssist with rigging and load securement as neededMaintain a clean and organized work areaWilling to travel to various job sites as required Required Qualifications NCCO Certification (National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators) required Class B CDL (Commercial Driver's License) required Rigging and Signal Person Certification required Proven experience operating boom trucks or similar mobile cranes Strong understanding of load charts, rigging principles, and crane safety standards Ability to read and interpret operating manuals, load charts, and site plansExcellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awarenessStrong communication skills and ability to work as part of a teamClean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening Preferred Qualifications Class A CDL preferredPrior experience in construction, utility, or industrial settings Physical Requirements Ability to climb, bend, and work at heights as requiredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs as neededAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to sit for extended periods while operating equipment Schedule Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends and overtime as needed Why Join Us?
