Role OverviewTo provide leadership and oversight to the bookkeeping team, ensuring accurate and timely financial records for multiple clients. This role involves supervising bookkeepers, maintaining a small client list, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensuring client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth reviews of bookkeepers' work on a quarterly basis.
• Oversee and review the work of multiple bookkeepers to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Provide support and leadership to the team, fostering growth and development of team members.
• Monitor KPIs of staff to ensure high performance and address any issues promptly.
• Speak with escalated clients to ensure client satisfaction and resolve any issues.
• Maintain a small client list and provide high-quality bookkeeping services.
• Learn new processes and procedures to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
• Implement and monitor standard operating procedures within the team.
• Perform all other duties that may be assigned by Company management from time to time.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 3 years of experience with QuickBooks (Desktop and Online preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Moderate knowledge of Excel.
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and general accounting principles.
• Ability to read and interpret financial statements.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts at one time.
• CPA firm experience preferred.

Preferred:

• Experience with managing AR accounts and DocuSign.
• Previous experience in a consulting firm or a related field.
