Qualifications
- Minimum High school education or GED.
- Completed 2 year business school or 2 years work experience in Accounting or Bookkeeping department or 2 years of college with some accounting/business classes.
- Experience in long term care facility preferred but not required. Will train as needed.
Responsibilities
- Reviews and reconciles assigned ledger accounts and resolves any discrepancies.
- Provides information and assistance to the external auditors as directed.
- Codes Invoices and processes accounts payable batches and prepares A/P checks.
- Maintains Vendor master.
- Prepares patient refund checks.
- Affords support to the Administrator in various monthly/quarterly duties.
- Affords support during State Surveys.
- Affords support with payroll reports/time clock issues.
- Acts as HR liaison with facility and HR department.
