Qualifications

  • Minimum High school education or GED.
  • Completed 2 year business school or 2 years work experience in Accounting or Bookkeeping department or 2 years of college with some accounting/business classes.
  • Experience in long term care facility preferred but not required. Will train as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and reconciles assigned ledger accounts and resolves any discrepancies.
  • Provides information and assistance to the external auditors as directed.
  • Codes Invoices and processes accounts payable batches and prepares A/P checks.
  • Maintains Vendor master.
  • Prepares patient refund checks.
  • Affords support to the Administrator in various monthly/quarterly duties.
  • Affords support during State Surveys.
  • Affords support with payroll reports/time clock issues.
  • Acts as HR liaison with facility and HR department.
