BOOKKEEPER - District Clerk

Tarrant County College · Fort Worth, TX · 3 wk ago
AccountingFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The posting includes Summary and Essential Duties And Responsibilities, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities, Minimum Requirements, Physical Demands And Work Environment & Other Requirements, Benefits (some description). Also maybe Pay/Schedule not present, so omit. Also need to remove boilerplate like EEO, etc. The posting includes some questions at end (01 Do you have...). Those are likely application screening questions; we should remove them as they are application instructions? The instruction says remove application instructions. Those questions are likely part of application; we should drop them. Also remove "Note: These benefits are for Tarrant County employees only..." maybe keep benefits description but drop note about CSCD? It's still benefit info; we can keep benefits section but maybe drop the note about CSCD as it's extra detail but still benefit info. The instruction: remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The note about CSCD is not boilerplate but maybe still benefit info; we can keep but it's not essential. Might keep benefits section with description of benefits. We need headings: Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). We need to decide which sections to include based on content. We have Summary (could be About the role). Essential Duties And Responsibilities -> Responsibilities. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities -> Skills (or Qualifications?). Minimum Requirements -> Requirements (or Qualifications). Physical Demands And Work Environment & Other Requirements -> maybe Working Conditions? Not in list; but we could incorporate into Requirements or maybe omit if not matching headings. The instruction says use those headings for section headings; but we can also use other headings? It says use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It implies we should use those headings when appropriate. Could also use other headings if needed? Probably stick to those. Thus we can have:

About the role

with summary paragraph.

Responsibilities

with
  • list of duties.

    Requirements

with minimum requirements (associate degree, 3 years experience, bondable, driver's license). Could also include physical demands? Might be separate but we can include under Requirements.

    Skills

    with knowledge, skills, abilities list.

    Benefits

with benefits description. We should not include Pay or Schedule as not present. We must preserve all substantive information; not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to include all duties listed. That's a lot; we need to convert each sentence into list items maybe. Must not lose any detail. We need to be careful not to duplicate lines. The posting has some duplicated sentences (e.g., "Performs verification of daily deposits for all sections, preparation of consolidated daily revenue reports, and spreadsheet entries for fee transfer to the Auditor’s office." appears twice? Actually appears in summary and later. We need to deduplicate. We'll extract unique duties. Let's parse the text. Summary: "The Accounting Bookkeeper will be responsible for assisting with the daily functions of the District Clerk’s Office including verifying all daily revenue received in Criminal, Family, Civil, Juvenile and Tax Sections from various revenue reporting systems, as well as reviewing daily bank deposits. We may drop the note about CSCD as it's not essential benefit info but still benefit. Might keep but it's not duplicated. It's okay to keep. We must not include application instructions (the Yes/No questions). So drop those. Now produce HTML. We need to wrap each section in

and then content. For Responsibilities, we can use
    • each duty. For Requirements, maybe also
      • . For Skills, also
        • . For Benefits, maybe

          paragraphs. About the role:

summary. Let's craft. Check for duplicate duties: The summary includes verifying all daily revenue received ... and reviewing daily bank deposits, preparation of consolidated daily revenue reports and fee transfer. Those are covered in duties list; we can keep them but ensure not duplicate. We'll keep duties list as is; summary can be a brief overview. Now produce HTML.
