Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers related to construction projects
- Manage accounts payable and receivable using QuickBooks
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Prepare and process invoices, billing, and payments in a timely manner
- Collaborate with project managers to track budgets and expenses within Procore
- Ensure compliance with company policies and construction industry accounting standards
- Generate financial reports to support management decision-making
- Auxiliary with payroll processing and tax documentation as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive financial information
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in the construction industry
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Procore software
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and construction industry financial processes
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with payroll and tax compliance is a plus
