Bone Marrow Transplant Nurse Practitioner (NP)

About the role

Lead and manage the BMT nurse practitioner team or serve in a non-leadership capacity, providing advanced clinical care to BMT patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care, developing and implementing BMT protocols and procedures, and mentoring and supporting junior nursing staff and nurse practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the BMT nurse practitioner team or serve in a non-leadership capacity
• Provide advanced clinical care to BMT patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
• Develop and implement BMT protocols and procedures
• Mentor and support junior nursing staff and nurse practitioners

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing
• Current Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
• At least 2 years of experience in BMT or hematology/oncology
