Responsibilities
- Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
- Removal and installation of panels and components.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system/component issues.
- De-fueling aircraft.
- Engine removal/installations.
- Operating ground support equipment.
- Aircraft movement and assistance in performance runs/ taxiing.
- Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling.
- Basic computer skills to be able to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance data bases.
- Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English.
- Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Requirements
- Your Education: A High school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.
- Your Experience:
- AMT I: Airframe or Powerplant license is required. Airframe license is preferred. 0-2 years of experience in aviation maintenance, avionics, or similar.
- AMT II: Airframe or Powerplant license is required. Airframe license is preferred. 2-4 years of experience working in aviation maintenance. Experience working on corporate aircraft is preferred but not essential.
- AMT III: Airframe license is required; in addition, Powerplant license is highly preferred. 4-6+ years’ experience in aviation maintenance. Experience working on corporate aircraft is highly preferred but not essential.
- AMT IV (Master): Airframe and Powerplant license is required. 6+ years’ experience in aviation maintenance. Must have extensive experience on corporate aircraft platforms. Subject matter expert in all areas of the job.
- Your Initiative: We’re looking for team players who are self-motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced environment where working under specific deadlines and time constraints will be common.
- Your Sense of Responsibility: Attend work every day as scheduled to include overtime and weekend assignments. Notify supervisor in advance of shift starting if unable to work. Must have reliable transportation to get to work each day. Perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines. Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties. Maintain customer-oriented work habits.
