About the role
Perform various mechanical tasks in an industrial setting, including valve replacements, flanged piping assembly, hydro testing and rigging.
Qualifications
- At least 2.5 years of experience bolting up pipe
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in industrial maintenance or related field
- Safety-oriented and able to work on elevated structures or scaffolding
- Must be willing and able to work 50 or more hours each week
- Must be willing and able to meet all physical demands of the job
- Must be able and willing to attend mandatory safety meetings
- Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol test
- Must be a safety role model
Safety requirements
- Promote awareness of environmental, health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all company policies
- Ability to pass drug test as mandated by the Saulsbury Industries and Department of Transportation anti-drug program
- Must attend and successfully complete Saulsbury Industries safety training education
- Attend safety meetings and specialty training as directed by management
- Attend various training classes as may be assigned by management
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as required
- Ability to take needed safety precautions in performing the work
- Knowledge of basic rigging safety practices
