Boiler Service Technician

About the role

Boilermakers are responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing boilers and other industrial equipment. They ensure that all equipment is in compliance with safety regulations and perform necessary repairs to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Inspect boilers and other industrial equipment for signs of wear and tear
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues as needed
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents
• Document work performed and report findings to supervisors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• At least 2 years of related experience in industrial maintenance
• Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Good problem-solving skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
