Boiler Service Technician

About the role

Boilermakers are responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing boilers and related equipment. They also perform various maintenance tasks and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect boilers and related equipment for signs of wear and damage.
• Maintain and repair boilers and related equipment according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment.
• Document all work performed and report findings to supervisors.
• Communicate effectively with other tradespeople and customers regarding project progress and issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar field.
• Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay

$20 - $25 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
