Boiler Operator
About the role
Are you a safety-oriented, energetic, hardworking and motivated individual, interested in a dynamic career with opportunities for growth? We are looking for someone to join our team in Northern Maine.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and controlling the operation of biomass and oil fired boilers and a turbine generator in a safe and efficient manner
- Performing operational troubleshooting and routine minor repairs on all boiler related equipment as needed
- Daily operation and maintenance of dry kilns
Qualifications
- Education Required: Trade Certification or Associate's degree
- Minimum requirement: Maine HP Boiler License
- Years of Experience Required: 1-5 years of experience
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
- Ability to work shifts as the operation runs 24/7
