Responsibilities

  • Diligent monitoring of key indicators such as water level, pressure, temperature, and steam load.
  • Seamless transfer of wood fuel from storage to the boiler.
  • Commitment to weekly maintenance duties, including the thorough cleaning of tubes and ashes.
  • Strict adherence to written and verbal job instructions.
  • Provide constructive feedback and apply critical thinking skills to achieve optimal boiler performance.
  • Adept at using personal safety equipment, particularly in a dynamic manufacturing environment involving moving machinery, fast-paced forklift traffic, and machine noise.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate proficiency in the operation of two wood-fired boilers.
  • Show a deep understanding of standard boiler operating procedures.
  • Must be able to work on a 4-days-on, 4-days-off work schedule.
