Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, repair and diagnose High Pressure steam Boilers, critical mechanical/plumbing systems and equipment relating to building Infrastructure.
- Complete preventive maintenance per policies and/or procedures following the CMMS timeline ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrate effective communication, assertiveness, and versatility in responding to customer needs.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize work tasks.
- Work with others in planning and scheduling for modifications and repairs to systems with minimal disruption to the mission of our organization while meeting fiscal constraints.
- Be alert to all aspects of equipment when responding to customer requests and communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess excellent human relations skills to interact with staff, visitors, and patients.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to others.
Qualifications
- One to three years electrical and/or plumbing maintenance experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current Class 1B Minnesota Boiler License required.
- Minnesota Boiler License-Class 1B, 1A, Chief B, or Chief A required.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record in accordance with Mayo Clinic Policy.

Pay
Compensation range is $34.47 - $38.02 / hour based upon union contract.
Schedule
- Full Time
- Hours/Pay Period: 80
- Schedule Details: This is a rotating 24/7 schedule with 8-hour shifts.
- Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend
