About the role

Jackson Mechanical is seeking a skilled and experienced Boiler/Chiller Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a journeyman licensed technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience in boiler and chiller work. They will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting boiler and chiller systems for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of boiler and chiller systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with boiler and chiller systems, identifying and implementing effective solutions.
• Perform repairs and replacements of components as needed, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules, service reports, and parts inventory.
• Collaborate with other team members to coordinate and prioritize service requests.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Journeyman license in boiler/chiller operations.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in boiler and chiller work.
• Up-to-date on all licensing and certifications.
• Strong knowledge of boiler and chiller systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Experience in service work.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

$38.25 - $70.00 per hour

Schedule

• Full-time (40 hours per week)
• 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday
• On call
