Join the dynamic team at Terry's Grill as a Kitchen Leader and Opener! We are seeking a passionate culinary professional with over 10 years of experience to help us deliver exceptional dining experiences in Jacksonville, FL.
Responsibilities
- Lead kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating processes to maintain consistency.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost control to optimize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all kitchen operations.
- Develop and implement new menu items to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest experiences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in a BOH kitchen role
- Proven track record of managing kitchen staff and operations effectively.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Passion for food and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
- Flexible schedule, including early mornings and weekends 40 hours a week if you can open at 4:30am
