If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and have a passion for running a tight, efficient back-of-house, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: Open the kitchen and ensure all BOH operations are ready for service by established prep timesOversee and direct kitchen staff during the morning and midday shiftsMonitor food quality, presentation, and consistency across all menu itemsManage food prep, inventory, and ordering to minimize waste and control costsEnforce food safety, sanitation, and health code compliance standardsTrain, coach, and motivate line cooks and prep staffCoordinate with FOH management to ensure smooth, timely servicePerform line checks and equipment inspections at the start of each shift Requirements: Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or BOH Supervisor in a restaurant environmentMust be available to work the opener shift: 4:30 AM – 2:00 PMStrong knowledge of food prep, kitchen operations, and line managementExperience with inventory management, food costing, and orderingServSafe certification or equivalent food safety knowledge preferredAbility to lead a team with a calm, organized, and hands-on management styleReliable, punctual, and able to thrive in an early-morning, high-energy environment About Us: Terry's Grill, operated by Mandrino Enterprises LLC, is a beloved Jacksonville dining destination known for its welcoming atmosphere and consistently great food.
