About the role

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck Dealership and Leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Body Journeyman.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of a fully qualified heavy-duty truck repair Bodyman under minimal supervision.
• Perform skilled and complicated body work on heavy-duty truck equipment and related components with minimal supervision.
• Perform trouble shooting on major problems.
• Work with and help train apprentice Bodymen.
• Maintain a neat and orderly working area and proper handling of company tools.
• Advise the Shop Foreman if additional repair work is necessary.
• Maintain favorable relations with customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• CDL preferred.
• Minimum of five years experience in truck body repair or other applied body repair service.
• Positive can do attitude.
• Possess necessary tools required to perform position responsibilities.
