About the role

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck Dealership and Leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Body Shop / Collision Repair Apprentice. The role of the Body Shop / Collision Repair Apprentice is to perform light body work under close supervision. First stage of training for Bodyman status.

Responsibilities

• Perform light body work under close supervision.
• First stage of training for Bodyman status; performs body type work under supervision.
• Assist bodymen in heavy‑duty truck body repair.
• Attend training sessions to gain knowledge and experience.
• Maintain a neat and orderly working area and properly handle company tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• This position is safety‑sensitive; performing it while under the influence of marijuana or any other illegal drug may constitute a threat to health or safety.

Qualifications

• CDL preferred.
• Must have the necessary tools required to perform position responsibilities.

Skills

• Good communication skills.
• Ability to listen and work closely with others to learn how to make repairs properly.
• Positive can‑do attitude.
