About the role
The Body Shop / Collision Repair Apprentice role at Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is designed for individuals interested in learning the foundational skills needed to become a Bodyman. This position involves performing light bodywork under close supervision, serving as the first step in the training process for Bodyman status.
Essential Functions
- Perform light body work under supervision
- Assist bodymen in heavy-duty truck body repair
- Attend training sessions to gain knowledge and experience
- Maintain a neat and orderly working area
- Properly handle company tools
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
- CDL preferred
- Good communication skills
- Positive can-do attitude
- Necessary tools required to perform position responsibilities
