Body Shop Technician - 2nd Shift

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership and leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Body Shop / Collision Repair Apprentice.

Responsibilities

• Perform light body work under close supervision as the first stage of training for Bodyman status
• Perform body type work under supervision
• Assist bodymen in heavy-duty truck body repair
• Attend training sessions to gain knowledge and experience
• Maintain a neat and orderly working area and properly handle company tools
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

This position has been designated as safety-sensitive. Any person performing the position while under the influence of marijuana or any other illegal drug may constitute a threat to health or safety. The role includes operating, repairing, maintaining, or monitoring heavy equipment, machinery, or motor vehicles, or handling hazardous materials and/or waste.

Requirements

• CDL preferred
• Good communication skills
• Able to listen and work closely with others to learn proper repair techniques
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Possess necessary tools required to perform position responsibilities
