Body Shop Painter (North Bergen, NJ)

Coach USA is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bus Painter to join our maintenance team in North Bergen, NJ. This position plays a key role in ensuring our fleet of buses maintains a professional, clean, and appealing appearance that reflects the quality and pride of our company.

Responsibilities

• Prep for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming.
• Apply finishes according to manufacturer specifications.
• Operate and maintain spray guns properly.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and paints.
• Maintain an exceptionally clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with other technicians as needed to complete repairs.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive or commercial vehicle painting.
• Knowledge of paint mixing, blending, and color-matching techniques.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet production deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically active environment.
