Body Shop Painter

About the role

Tropical Ford’s Collision Center is seeking an Automotive Finish Specialist to join their team. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Train or work with paint and materials, mixing room, and body shop equipment.
• Color match, prime, block, edge, cut in, and blend.
• Maintain personal paint gun and tools.
• Ensure proper maintenance of tools and Tropical Ford equipment.
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Comply with all laws and regulations regarding paint, thinners, and hazardous materials.
• Work collaboratively with the team.

Requirements

• Training or experience with paint and materials, mixing room, and body shop equipment.
• Knowledge of color matching, priming, blocking, edging, cutting in, and blending.
• Own paint gun and tools.
• Ability to maintain tools and Tropical Ford equipment.
• Willingness to wear proper PPE.
• Compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Team player attitude.
