Body Shop Painter

Responsibilities

• Apply paint to vehicles using spray guns and other painting equipment.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and company standards.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, and priming as needed.
• Measure and mark areas to be painted, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Follow detailed blueprints and instructions to complete projects accurately.
• Handle materials such as paint, solvents, and protective gear safely.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in painting or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using spray guns and other painting equipment.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Experience with different types of paints and finishes.
• Understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair.
