Body Shop Manager
About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Body Shop Manager. This is a working position. You will manage a small team of body shop technicians and work in the body shop as well!
Responsibilities
- Lead a very small team of 1-2 body shops technicians
- Write estimates and work with insurance companies
- Schedule work and coordinate with parts department for parts needed for job
- Manage work flow
- Assist and train personnel
- Ensure quality control
- Maintain a professional relationship with customers
- Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills
- Two years of body shop experience is preferred
- Practical experience and proficiency in use of all body shop tools required for the job
- Working knowledge/experience of medium and heavy duty trucks
- Must have own hand tools
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs with/without help
- High school diploma or GED
