What You’ll Do
- Manage repair orders
- Assist with daily operations (handling payments, records, accounts, etc.)
- Ensure efficient communication between customer, technicians, and management
- Support payroll, estimates, vendor communication, and other duties
- Manage documents including scanning and shredding
- Aid Body Shop Management with parts issues, purchase orders, and repair orders
- Maintain a professional appearance and a clean and organized work area
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- A great eye for detail and a passion for cars
- Previous experience is a plus, but not required

Qualifications

- Education & Experience: One to two years of related experience and/or training; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language Skills: Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and fellow employees.
- Mathematical Skills: Calculate figures and amounts including: Discounts, Interest, Commissions, Proportions, Percentages, Area, Circumference, Volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form. Solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Certificates, Licenses & Registrations: Valid Driver's License. State of Michigan Unitized Body Structural Repair Certification.
Physical Demands
- Regularly Required: Sit. Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects. Talk and hear. Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally Required: Stand. Walk. Reach with hands and arms. Climb or balance. Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
Work Environment
- Regular Exposure: Moving mechanical parts. Fumes or airborne particles. Toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Occasional Exposure: Wet and/or humid conditions. Outdoor weather conditions. Risk of electrical shock. Explosives.
- Noise Level: The work environment is usually very loud.
